AT THE CHURCH OF ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST IN WASHINGTON

Dear friends!

On August 28 and 29, in the Church of St. John the Baptist in Washington, there were two miraculous icons of the Mother of God, “Kursk-root” and “Iverskaya-Hawaiian” Myrrh-streaming. The episcopal service was led by Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan, as well as Archpriest Viktor Potapov, rector of St. John the Baptist Church in Washington.
Priest Sergius and the parishioners of our parish in honor of St. Joseph of Optina also attended these services and were able to offer their prayers to the Lord our God Jesus Christ and the Mother of God before such important shrines for the entire Christian world.

I want to express my gratitude to the entire parish of St. John the Baptist Church in Washington for giving so many people the opportunity to witness the miraculous phenomenon of myrrh flow firsthand.
The whole temple was filled with a pleasant and strong fragrance.
